Documentary centred on but not limited to the indigenous Kaweskar people of Patagonia, drawing connections between ancient and modern; the title refers to an incident from the voyage of HMS Beagle but the film also looks at how the oceans are a mass grave for people killed during the Pinochet regime, Mournful and melancholy, but accessible and endlessly intriguing.

QFT has been part of the Northern Irish cinema scene for over 40 years, celebrating all things cinematic with a wide range of films from all eras. Regular events with filmmakers form part of the diverse programming at the cinema, which is part of the QUB Drama and Film Centre.
