Australia is in the middle of a Cider renaissance. Driven by cideries, boutique cider bars and artisan cider craft makers, we are becoming more "ciderfied" than ever.
Bringing this to light, the 5th annual 2015 Australian Cider Awards dinner night on 9 October 2015, will be announcing the best ciders in Australia tonight.
Judged by the highly experienced cider connoisseur and Canadian Claude Jolicoeur as the International Guest, and Gary Baldwin, Behn Payten, Karina Dambergs and Bradford Tetlow from Australia, they were put through the test with a record number of entries this year and an expanded number of award classes.
Be sure to go to the Cider Festival at Ormond Hall at the Village Melbourne on Saturday 10 October between 12pm to 8pm. Tickets at the door, which gets you 20 cider 50ml tastes, a tasting glass, program and cider tasting notes.
