Savour many fabulous nights of the best world cinema under the stars at the magnificent picture garden, the UWA Somerville. Direct from international festivals, all the films are first release and exclusive to the Perth Festival. What better way to spend an evening than picnicking with friends before the sun sets and the silver screen lights up.

Picnickers are welcome from 6pm but must be seated by 8pm (7.30pm from 7 March 2016)

Etiquette

We want to reduce waste and maximise recycling at UWA Somerville. Thinking of buying a coffee? Don't forget your Keep Cup. Bringing a picnic? Go for reusable over disposable containers every time. Whether you get snacks here or bring your own, at the end of the night please do the right thing, and put rubbish in the right bin! Bottles and cans, coffee cups, wine cups, ice cream tubs and pizza boxes all go in recycling and everything else into general waste. Thanks for playing your part to reduce waste at the UWA Somerville.

Transport

The University of Western Australia is serviced by buses on both Stirling Highway and Mounts Bay Road. There is a set down/ pick up point behind the theatre suitable for cars, taxis, maxi taxis & small buses. Enter off Hackett Drive adjacent to University Club.
