Established in 1989, Alcaston Gallery is a leading Melbourne Art Gallery with a National and International focus and exhibition schedule. The gallery represents Contemporary Artists from Australia and the Asia Pacific Region and is renowned for representing and exhibiting Australian Indigenous Artists, showcasing both indigenous art and aboriginal art.

Situated at the city end of Brunswick Street, Fitzroy, around the corner from Gertrude Street, and close to Smith Street and the Collingwood precinct, Alcaston Gallery is amidst the dynamic, diverse artistic and cultural hub of Melbourne! An array of galleries, cafes, fashion boutiques, specialty shops, restaurants and bars are at our doorstep. A short walk from the St. Vincent's Plaza Tram Super Stop (corner of Victoria Parade and Brunswick Street) and Parliament train station (corner Lonsdale and Spring streets), Alcaston Gallery is easily accessed from the CBD and wider Melbourne, in fact walking distance from the Parliament end of the city.
