The Pasifika Fesitval, cultural events and festivals in New-Zealand takes place each year in March in Auckland’s Western Springs Park. It is a fantastic weekend celebrating the music, food, arts and dance of New Zealand’s Pacific Island Communities. The festival consists of 11 authentic villages where you can experience the friendly Pacific Island community in Auckland. This is the most significant cultural festival in the South Pacific.

Another must Cultural Events and Festival is The Auckland Lantern festival. This is one of the cities most popular events. Each year Albert Park is lit up with a series of spectacular lanterns coupled with on stage performances of martial arts, dance and live music. Feast on delicious Chinese cuisine at the many food stalls surrounding the park. On the final night (Sunday) witness a spectacular fireworks demonstration.

The Parihaka Peace Festival is held at the historic Parihaka Paa each year. The festival includes a range of top Kiwi Music performers plus speakers, a film festival, arts, food and crafts. There is onsite parking and camping so it’s a great way to kick off the New Zealand summer. This is a very historic Cultural Events and Festivals in New Zealand
