The Delhi International Arts Festival (DIAF) is an annual festival organized by Prasiddha Foundation and Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). This year will be the sixth edition of the festival. Around 30 countries are participating in the festival, including Hungary, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey/Iran, Czech/Poland, Greece and India. The festival will showcase different forms of art and culture with a blend of Indian, western, traditional and contemporary forms of events and performances. Events like dance and theatre performances, drama, music, magic & puppet shows, exhibitions, cinema festivals, literature & visual arts, etc will be held across Delhi and NCR. The annual DIAF was devised by Prathibha Prahlad, a Bharatnatyam dancer, and is a multi-arts, multi-venue, Signature Festival'' which establishes India as a worldwide destination for arts and cultural tourism in India. The DIAF is based on public-private-partnership. ' |
