Bucksport Arts Festival

Registration has officially opened for the 2nd Annual Bucksport Arts Festival to be held Saturday, August 13th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on the Bucksport waterfront. Artists and craftspeople of all kinds are encouraged to apply, and can do so online at bacasmaine.org or by mail. The registration fee is $75 for a 10'x10' booth space. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the event is full.
The event is being organized by the Bucksport Area Cultural Arts Society (BACAS), an organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the cultural and performing arts for Bucksport and surrounding communities.

About the Organizers
LYNDSEY MARSTON
Local artist Lyndsey Marston creates and sells original artwork under the name 3 Legged Dog Ink. Her artwork celebrates the simplicities in life, and everyday moments of life in Maine. Her husband is an Orland native, and Lyndsey has been eyeing the Bucksport Waterfront for several years as a perfect art festival location. Since returning to the area in 2014.
LAURIE BROOKS
For her love of art and the town of Bucksport, Laurie Brooks has partnered with Lyndsey in organizing the 2016 Bucksport Arts Festival. Laurie is an avid house renovator, illustrator, sewer, and expressive artist. A transplant from southern and central Maine, she has embraced Buckport as her hometown and established One Summer Studio at her home, which is within walking distance of the waterfront
